Can't Install Windows XP in your Laptop?

..try this,

What you have to do is power on the Laptop and then press F2 to get into the BIOS menu. Then scroll down to the SATA option and change it from ACHI to Compatibility then exit saving your changes (F10) and then reboot your Laptop from the XP Operating System disk.

It will now let you install Windows XP or any other Operating System.

I too have been searching for answers on various sites and forums and none of the suggestions (including downloading XP drivers) worked.

This definitely works (at least for the Toshiba L300 Laptop anway).

How i verify my paypal account with smartmoney card..

..here is how i link my smartmoney card to my paypal account..


1. you need a smart sim then get your smart money account number thru that sim card. click here how to download your smart money account number

2. When you have your smart money account number, you can now apply online. but be sure your account number starts with "5299-67XX..",click here for more info. and click here to apply a card online or you may visit nearest smart wireless center to apply, and be sure to choose the personalize card,the one that can have a name on card.name on card should be the same name as in your paypal's name.

3. if you apply online, smart will email or text you that your card is ready for pick up. once you receive the message from smart,wait 7 days before you pick it up in smart wireless center,estimated days that your card will reach in branch where you select to pick up.in my case i chose sm cebu branch.

4. once you receive your card,make a deposit atleast Php 200, this is for linking or verifying your card to paypal which will be refunded by paypal after you link your card.
..be sure to link your smart money card to your phone,an agent that will be issuing your card will ask you if you did link, or visit smart faq for more info,click here, and look for "How do I link my SMART Money Card to my SMART mobile phone?..

5. once deposit is completed you can now start to link or verify your card. but unlike any other card,smart money need to be unlock before you can make any transactions online. to unlock your smart money account for internet transactions.here is how: in your smart phone go to "smart menu",then go to "smartmoney",then "smart money" again,then go to "internet txns",then select "unlock",then select the name of your smart money account..and a confirmation message to unlock. thats it to unlock.

6. after you unlock your account for internet transactions. now log in in your paypal account.click 'get verified..see pic below..


7. now click "continue to proceed"..paypal will send confirmation message together with the code like this "PP*xxxxCODE" where x is the 4 digit you need to enter in the next step..see pic below


8. after you enter your 4 digit code. your paypal will be verified and a refund of 100php for the said transactions mention in text message from paypal.



..thats it, you can now verify using smart money card and can send/receive payments.

fyi: only selected countries can add funds thru a card, asian still can't add funds to paypal from a card.
